I grew up in Placerville, California. A small town on the edge of the El Dorado National Forest in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I started playing bassoon in middle school and took an interest in music theory and composition my senior year of high school.
I am currently finishing a BM in bassoon performance as well as a BM in music theory at Arizona State University. I am a student of Dr. Albie Micklich and have worked with the theory faculty at ASU to dive further into video game music theory.
While living in Tempe, Arizona, I have performed with the ASU symphony orchestra, wind ensemble, music theater orchestra, and the sun devil marching band. I have served as a music tech to the Coronado High School Marching Dons for the past two academic school years where I composed my first marching show. I have also taught private bassoon lessons at Highland High School for the past two years.
